Participant profile

The programme is designed for top executives and business leaders in the AgriFood industry:

  • Participants are expected to be senior management with 15 – 20 years of work experience and at least 5 years of work experience in the AgriFood industry
  • Admission will be based on submitting a CV, followed by a final interview with the admission committee. The admission committee consists of directors drawn from IESE and WUR
  • The programme is taught in English. Applicants are expected to have full English proficiency

The programme will provide participants with the knowledge and practice to compete globally for senior management roles in AgriFood. Taught by outstanding professors specialised in AgriFood and business development, candidates will acquire the required knowledge and practices. Throughout the four modules the participant will work on real life cases, visit several top companies in the AgriFood industry, and world leading educational institutes on the four continents.

Assessment

  • The candidates will be supported and assessed by personal coaches that are world-leading experts in the AgriFood industry and linked to the academic faculties of IESE and WUR
  • Assessment is based on participation in, and contribution to, business cases; the development of relevant knowledge and skills; and a final presentation
  • The final presentation will be on the “individual executive challenge” and has to integrate new insights drawn from the programme. These insights should take into account specific strategic or organisational issues taking place within the participant’s own organization or sector. In this final presentation employer involvement is encouraged as it could contribute to the return of expertise to the employer’s organization
  • Participants must be present at all four modules
